If the fires fail
And the floods hold still
And the bombs all fall
On an empty field
If the lights stay on
And the freeways sing
No economic disaster
Just living the dream
Send the virus
No escape
Everything we counted on
There’s no escape
All the plans we followed
There is no escape
Hope was just a mirror
There is no escape
Time has come full circle
There is... no
If we only knew
What the future would bring
Would we still be here?
Would we still hold still?
Tom's latest. Great stuff! Had some nice goodies with it if you caught the IndieGoGo campaign last year. 'Welcome, Apocalypse' is a very timely track today and probably will become timeless as time goes by. m-a-s_dust
FLA is a SONIC ELECTRONIC BULLDOZER. That's about the most concise way I can describe how this album feels to me.
'Alone' is hands down my top pick here, although I do find 'Rubber Tube Gag' sticking in my brain a lot, too.
My one criticism (constructive of course) is that sometimes the lyrics feel underinspired, but it's not a big issue in the grander context of this otherwise excellent album. This one definitely grows on you, too. Good stuff, and solidly recommended.
Long live FLA! Benjamin Crockett
There is plenty to experience on WarMech, because the album really does have its moments. There are plenty of cool tracks on this album that definitely keep going.
Top hits like "Force Carrier" and "Molotov" are really good and hit it well. Other, more constructive and atmosphere-enhancing tracks like "The Eminent" also sound quite impressive.
And the album closes strongly with the two great tracks "Earthriser" and "Creator". FLA rules and hits it again with this great follow-up of AirMech! corvischristi
The Barcelona duo inject coldwave with industrial grit and ghostly elegance, with Andrea P. Latorre’s vocals an undeniable highlight. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 27, 2020
Belgian quintet STUFF. filter groove-heavy electronic through ambient swirls, sweeping string samples, and space jazz-inspired interludes. Bandcamp New & Notable May 26, 2021
This album should be ranked very high in ranks of latest industrial albums, because it just crushes the competition. THIS is how it's done people. Menacing vocals, pounding drums and haunting electronics have no mercy on your ears and leave you with not one second of peace. Play this loud and do people around you a service.
