I started working on the song “No Escape” back in March 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 outbreak. It is now September and ash is raining from the sky as I type this in Oregon. The gas mask I wore in 2002 has finally come in handy.
This lyric video is a trip back to 2002 when I started this project with the self-titled "Dismantled" album and makes up for the lack of visuals from that era. This is a gift to the fans who have been there from the beginning. I decided not to cut down the song to length and if you manage to watch the whole thing, there's a clear message. Climate change is real. We need action now.
All proceeds from the "No Escape" single will be donated to The Red Cross for Oregon wildfire relief.
Out now on Metropolis / Dependent Records.

All the plans we followed
There is no escape
Hope was just a mirror
There is no escape

There is...
